Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt · Women's Program Director · Operations Manager · Homeschool Program Leader · Co-owner of Ramona MMA Center
Whitney Hosseini is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and a central figure in the day-to-day life of Ramona MMA Center. As Operations Manager, Women's Program Director, and Homeschool Program leader, she plays a key role in shaping both the culture and structure of the academy.
She began training shortly after the academy opened in 2010 and has since developed into a leader on and off the mat. Over the years, Whitney has built one of the most established all-women's Jiu-Jitsu programs in the area, creating a dedicated environment where women can train, build confidence, and develop real self-defense.
Her approach is rooted in consistency, connection, and mentorship. She has guided dozens of women from their first class into long-term training, helping them grow into confident and capable practitioners.
In addition to leading the women's program, Whitney oversees the daily operations of the academy and runs the homeschool program, providing structured physical education for families throughout Ramona. Her presence ensures the academy maintains a welcoming, organized, and family-centered environment.
As a mother of two and co-owner alongside her husband Kevin Hosseini, Whitney represents the foundation the academy is built on. She brings a balance of leadership, professionalism, and genuine care that defines the experience for students and families alike.
Part of the same lineage rooted through Master Fabio Santos, one of the early Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts to help establish the art in the United States.
