Douglas "Kru Doug" Dickey is one of the original Muay Thai practitioners from the San Diego scene of the 1980s and a foundational figure in the region's history of the sport.
With over four decades in martial arts, he brings a depth of experience that is rare to find. He holds a professional kickboxing record of 103–8 and an amateur boxing record of 87–10, along with multiple national and continental titles.
Kru Doug is accredited by the Sports Authority of Thailand and the International Kickboxing Federation, and is a member of the IKF Hall of Fame. His career has extended beyond competition, including developing champions and contributing to the growth of kickboxing both in the United States and internationally.
