Hundreds of five-star reviews, year after year. Built through real experiences, one family at a time.
We love this place! My son has been training here for over a year and my 5-year-old daughters joined a couple of months ago and doing great! Jiu Jitsu added so much confidence and fun into their lives. Even I started Jiu Jitsu and loving it. Professor Kevin and Coach Whitney are amazing owners who really care for their community and make the members feel like a family. Coaches are amazing (We love Coach Cameron) and very very patient with professional skills to teach children and adults. They have lots of variety of classes to attend. I feel very blessed to be a part of the Ramona MMA family!
Ramona MMA has been welcoming and supportive from DAY ONE. My son and daughter (5 and 4) join the gym 2 times a week. I love the layout of the gym because I always have a good view to watch my kids. It's spacious, open, and even cool during the hotter months. The coaches here are fantastic and handle my kids incredibly - on their best days and their worst. My kids are learning so many great skills that will do nothing but benefit them in the best ways! I do not regret our decision to join Ramona MMA and would recommend it to everyone!
My family has attended here for over a year now and I could not be more impressed. Excellent instruction. They actually LEARN here. The coaches are good with kids. I mean GOOD with kids. They're patient and firm and they have fun.
RBJJ is a great family friendly gym. My son (13) who has been attending for 6 months loves to come and train here. It's hard to get children involved in physical sports with video games at their fingertips, but Kevin and his wife are wonderful people who run and own this gym. I would highly recommend this jujutsu gym.
Ramona BJJ has been a huge part of mine and my son's life!! I can't rave enough about how great this Jiu Jitsu community has been for my family. Come for a visit, and become part of the family.
My family and I have truly found our second home at this great family gym! My husband, daughter, and I train here multiple times a week, and each visit is a delight. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, thanks in large part to the owners, who are some of the kindest and most gracious people you will ever meet. They take the time to get to know each member and create a supportive environment that feels like family. What sets this gym apart are the fun family events they regularly host. From themed workout nights to friendly competitions, there's always something happening that brings us together and creates lasting memories.
This place is a great atmosphere full of supportive individuals making training fun while challenging. The coaches are awesome and know how to work with various levels of individuals. I took 15 years off after training nearly 15 years and this place has helped me get my health back on track. Kevin is the owner pretty awesome guy!

Kevin and his team are absolutely amazing. The gym is well equipped and the staff is knowledgeable. The community feels like a family, everyone is encouraging and supportive. There's no stigma if you are overweight or just starting out on your combat sports journey. I cannot recommend this gym enough. 10/10!
I'd like to extend a personal thank you to Kevin, the owner of Ramona Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & MMA Center, and his team. From the very start, Kevin was kind and patient with all my questions. His staff mirrored this attitude, being open, honest, friendly, and exceptionally welcoming. They took the time to set us up with a schedule, provide recommendations, and outline the steps needed to get started and succeed. I'm excited to see where this journey takes my son in the coming months. It's clear that the Ramona Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & MMA Center is committed to giving back to the community, which is truly impressive. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend checking them out โ you won't be disappointed!
Great place to train for all levels of Jiu-Jitsu. Best martial arts school in Ramona area. Coaches Kevin and Cameron are professional and invest in each student meeting them where they're at with excellent instruction. Give it a shot.
Ramona MMA is a wonderful gym. I felt very welcomed by all students and instructors from the very beginning. I appreciate the environment that accepts all people without hesitation. My whole family now trains here. You know what they say, โA family that plays together, stays together!โ
Professional and patient teachers. Owners are always involved and caring. Great improvement in mental and physical well-being for my 10 and 7 year old.
